A peaceful town in Breg
Dolina is an ancient slovenian town in the surroundings of Trieste, well linked to the motorway network. If you're coming from Italy or western Europe, the fastest route is the A4 highway all the way to Monfalcone, then the freeway till the Dolina exit point. The A4 is itself linked to the A23 highway, from which the travellers from Friuli, west Austria and northern Europe reach our region. Drivers from Slovenia, east Austria and central-eastern Europe can take the Ljubljana-Divača highway and reach the freeway through the border crossing point at Pesek. If you'd rather travel by other means of transportation, the nearest railway station is the Trieste one, while the nearest airport is at Ronchi.

A view of the town
When you're at Dolina, please park your car responsibly; there is a heavy amount of visitor's traffic during majenca and careless parking can worsen the situation. Once you've parked, you'll need no more instructions: just follows the other visitors and you'll find yourself at the very hearth of Dolina and of majenca.
You may find an accomodation through the website "Atmospheres and Flavours of Trieste and its Surroundings".
